Get tested for COVID-19
Anyone experiencing any symptoms should get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result. This applies to anyone symptomatic – even if you have not visited a listed exposure site.

New ServiceWA app features keeping Western Australians safe this summer
Released: 19 December 2022
The ServiceWA app has been updated to include three new features, with a focus on boosting community safety during summer:
- Emergency WA’s bushfire warning notifications – sending warning notifications based on your current location.
- SharkSmart – linking you to the website with latest shark advice warnings.
- Weather Stations – provides timely, relevant, and local data targeted to rural producers. This helps to make informed decisions including air temperature, rainfall, wind speed, and soil conditions.
The new services are steps forward in redefining how WA interacts digitally with government services, after the app was launched earlier this year to help with WA’s COVID-19 response and Safe Transition phase.
Future updates will include the Unclaimed Money Register to check if you’re owed money from WA organisations or government agencies because you have moved house or changed your name.
Examples of money you can claim include rental bond refunds, education provider refunds, overpayment on utility bills, or dividend payments.
Another service being added is the Department of Transport’s vehicle look up helping to check when your vehicle registration is approaching renewal.
Support is available if you need help to set up and navigate the ServiceWA app.
Make sure you keep the app up to date to use the latest features. If you don’t have the ServiceWA app yet, you can download it from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.
