The town of Ravensthorpe was gazetted in 1901, named after the Ravensthorpe Range which surrounds the townsite. Ravensthorpe is a small town encircled by endless, unspoiled bushland. In the ancient ranges and jagged river valleys of Ravensthorpe, wildflower season is every season.
