Hopetoun is an incredible coastal town and holiday destination. Everyone can enjoy the relaxed Hopetoun lifestyle, the gorgeous beaches, all year round wildflowers, the abundance of water activities and of course the Fitzgerald River National Park, which just so happens to be the most important flora area in the world.

Delicious food, great accommodation, shops and town facilities are just the beginning of Hopetoun’s welcoming community. The ‘hopey groyne’ is one of Hopetoun’s most interesting aspects as it plays part in a locals everyday life. The groyne is a present breakwater which replaced the old jetty, here holiday makers and locals alike launch their boats or fish off the jetty while children play on the slide pontoon during the summer.

West of Hopetoun, Hamersley Drive(sealed) gives easy 2WD road access to 25km of pristine beaches and is only a 10 minute drive to the entrance of the Fitzgerald River National Park.

East of Hopetoun and heading towards Jerdacuttup take the Southern Ocean Road, a gravel 2WD accessible road that skirts our remarkable coastline with many quiet calm rock pools, swimming beaches and wicked fishing spots. If you cannot fit all the adventuring and exploring in one day, be sure to camp at Starvation Bay or Masons Bay Campground.
